I have tried making a book consisting of 400 pages with pics and
animations , when I hit page 99 it crashes. Is their a limit to how
many pages you can create. If their is what software would you
recommend.

not with pages, but you might run into something with images. or the file may
simply be corrupt. if the crash started after adding a page or an image then
back it out and see what happens. or start removing images and see if you can
stop the crash. or start a new file and recreate everything to see if you can
repro the crash, if not then you have a corrupted file. I recommend saving
off a copy of the file before any modifications, that way there is always one
to fall back on should corruption creep in. If you are using an older version
of Publisher and you are using Norton AV then file corruption is highly
likely.

We are also trying to create a webpage using Publisher 2003. We have hit a
point at 35 pages where the program refuses to allow any addnl pages to be
inserted/created. All existing pages seem to be displaying correctly and
there is little in the way of images and graphics at this point, in fact some
pages are just blank so far. Is there any way to narrow down what, if any,
content may be corrupt or what is causing the problem?

Chances are it is something wrong with the last page you inserted. Did you
try deleting that page? Did you run Design Checker? Can you insert a page in
a new publication?

There is no limit to the number of pages to my knowledge.
