ok, I have created my website, previews nicely (locally).  I have to save it
locally and use an ftp 'portal' on another website to upload the files (I
did this fine in November), I had numerous changes to make so I deleted the
entire website from the host server and have uploaded the updated data.
However, for some reason I can't remember, all of the pages under index.htm
are referenceing my local drive "G:\CTS\Web..." - i.e. no one can navigate
past the index.htm page.

The last time I did this, the pages referenced the folder 'index_files' and
referred to everything relatively - and it worked, nicely!

What have I forgotten between November and February ???

This can happen if you are using a Master Page in your Pub file. Master
pages are best used in print documents, not web publications.
