Installed fonts in Flash

I'm hoping that a similar issue occurs in Publisher and someone can help...

A web
developer developed my web site in Flash on a Mac, using 22 Univers
fonts that are also installed on my Windows XP machine. When I first open
that web site in Flash on my PC, it says "One more
or more fonts used by this file are not available. " All of the unavailable
fonts are bold and italics. You are then given an opportunity to choose
substitute fonts for each of them. When I attempt to select a substitute by
popping up the list of available fonts, the bold and italic installed fonts
do not appear in that list.

I need for that list of fonts to display all bold and italics variants,
otherwise Flash will convert them all to the roman versions.  It seems like
a Windows issue that the application won't display all of the font options,
because they don't appear in Office applications either. Perhaps this
is due to a difference in the way the Mac and PC handle fonts?

There are only 8 'web safe' fonts in Windows. There is an article on this
