I have set up a series of tables. Each row has a club members name. Each
column has the points they scored in a race. The last cloumn is a totals
cloumn. Can I set up the table so that the totals are automatically added as
new figures are entered?

In what program? Sounds like an Excel question.

The table is in "Publisher" for my club webpage. I assumed it worked LIKE
excel, ie: with a formula but it doesn't.Do I have to do the program in excel
first, and then copy and paste the figures from excel into the table in
publisher?

You won't have Excel functionality on the web.
You can create the table in Excel and use it in publisher, but it's not
gonna function like it does on your puter.
