I would like to able to edit my webpages directly, is there a way to save the
web pages as REGULAR ,editable html, not filtered?

You can edit the code in Publisher output, but those changes will not be
reflected in your Publisher file. Publisher produces new HTML output each
time you make a change, and thus that is where you should be making changes,
not in the code itself. If you use the Publish to the Web feature, the
filtered output is the most 'regular' html code Pub 2003 can produce. You
can open that code in Notepad and edit it if you want.

What are you trying to do? Have your tried using the "insert HTML code
fragment" feature? If you share with us what you are trying to accomplish,
perhaps there is another way than editing the code.
