I want to convert my site or at list some of may pages into secure.
Since I have no idea on this stuff, is there any reference for a doing that?

User name and Password?  Look for help from your ISP.

On my ISP it takes a cgi-bin folder, containing the encrypted .htpasswd file
and a .htaccess file in the folder to be protected.
