There are no errors on my document, and it all shows up fine in a web page
preview, but the pictures are missing from the online version. I have
uploaded them all to the same folder, in the same way they are on my hard
drive, so I am at a loss as to what is wrong! Can anyone shed some light on
this please?

If you are using Pub 2003, then when you Publish to the Web, and you haven't
changed the default settings, the HTML output consists of an "index.htm"
file and an "index_files" folder. All your images and pages other than your
home page are contained in the "index_files" folder. This folder should be
uploaded in its entirety along with the index.htm file.

If you have not optimized your images for the web prior to inserting them
into your Pub doc, then its possible that they are so large that they simply
taking a long time to load. Ideally you should use a third party image
editing program to optimize the images before inserting, but at the minimum
you should compress the images that you have inserted, prior to producing
the HTML and uploading. Reference: "Compress graphics file sizes to create
smaller Publisher Web pages":

If you are using a different version of Publisher, or none of this helps,
post back with the URL of your website.
