On the "Format" menu there is no "navigation bar" function.  How can I,
therefore, add links per the instructions I obtained on this site
"Troubleshoot navigation bars?"  I'll also need the rest of the functionality.

Thanx in advance for your help.

Sorry, your question is clear as mud to me. What version of Publisher? What
instructions on this site "troubleshooting navbars"? What do you mean the
rest of the functionality? What is your problem, and what are you wanting to
do? A little more clarity and a few specifics please...

Hi,  Sorry for the confusion.  I had completed the "Subject" field of the
question form as shown above - "Re:  Navigation Bar Problems - Publisher
(Office 2003).  I thought you would have access to that information.

I am trying to add links to the navigation bar.  I am following instructions
I found on this site "Microsoft Office Assostance:  Troubleshoot navigation
bars."   The article states:

"1.  Select the navigation bar to which you want to add links.
2.  On the Format menu, click Navigation Bar Properties, and then click the
General tab.
3.  Click Add Link, etc."

There is no "Navigation Bar Properties" on the format menu.  Is there
another way to add links?

Thanx for your help,

Sarah

Yes, I should have seen the Publisher version in the subject...sorry.

If I select an existing navbar with one click, then look under the Format,
the option Navigation Bar Properties is available to me in Pub 2003. Another
way is to select the navbar and click on the little wand, which opens the
task bar, which has the option of Change navigation bar > Add, remove, and
reorder links...

I have the same problem, I'm using the trial Publisher 2007 and when
selecting one navigation bar and clicking on Format the button "navigation
bar properties" isn't available, neither is the wand underneath it. I have
seen their availability but cannot access them today. I realize I have to
select it first and I do but to no avail. Suggestions?
