MS Office Forum / Publisher / Web Design / October 2006Publisher Web Page Preview Not Working
I've been using Publisher 2003 for a couple of months. I was able to preview my web pages until a couple of weeks ago. Now when I click on Web Page Preview, it opens Notepad and displays the html code for the page. It used to open I.E. Any ideas? Try Publish to the web to your hard drive somewhere you can find the HTML files...I would suggest your desktop. Go to the index.htm file that is produced and double click it. Does it try to open in NotePad? If so, then right click the index.htm file, open with, choose program, select Internet Explorer, and then check "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file".
