cannot see inserted picture in microsoft publisher

Using Microsoft publisher
I have inserted a picture and the frame appears, but I cannot see the picture.
When I print the document the picture is there, but I cannot see it on my
monitor.

I can see the picture on my monitor in other programs i.e MSWord and MS
Powerpoint

Does anyone have a clue as to how to correct this problem?

You probably need to update your video/graphics driver.
