scripts in MS Pub 2003

Hello all:

I'm in the process of building my website and have gotten into working with
simple scripts (status bar scroll, hyperlinking, etc). The simple ones are
copied into one HTML fragment code window and they work just fine. However
I've noticed that some of the scripts instruct me to place part of the script
into the head and part into the body.

I've messed around some with Frontpage (split screen - scripts and finished
product), but found Pub easier and much more fun to use. Is there a command I
can use to access the head and body scripts that are running in the
background?

From experimenting with a lot of scripts like you, I have found that even
though you are supposed to put part of the code snippet in the head, you
don't have to. Just try it, and you might find it works. If not, there are
lots more out there.

The fact is that Publisher is not designed for you to access the head...to
edit the HTML code directly. You can, but then you would have to go back and
do it every time you update the page. Better to just find a script that
works without editing the code...IMHO.

Gr8, thanks for the post David. I too have found that some of the scripts run
just fine without having to carve them up.
