My website has 11 pages and i have succesfully uploaded through Publisher
2003 and saved as 'Index.htm'. I saved the other pages in hard drive and
copied them to the "index_files'  that was created automatically by Publisher
in my FTP folder.

All of these pages I have saved in the format -- page824.htm--but when I
visit my site these pages do not download but an error message appears. I
know these other pages should be in 'index_files' but how do i save them
there? my site address is http://www.yourmotivation.co.za/

Use Publish to the Web, not Save As a web page, to produce your website html
files. By default you will get an index.htm file and an index_files folder
that contain your additional pages and supporting graphics and images. You
upload both the index.htm file and the index_files folder to your webhost.
You don't add pages manually to the index_files folder...it already contains
them. You can see this for yourself if you Publish to the Web and opt to
publish your files to somewhere on your hard drive where you can open and
inspect the index_files folder.

Delete the old files off your server and upload fresh.

THanks, I have to try again a bit patient this time. I get worried because
the computer hangs when I save to the FTP folder, its when then that I assume
I have to upload the other files manually. I'm sure I have to allow more time
saving. ThankU.

The index_files folder is full of files, and will take a lot longer to
upload than your index.htm file. This can appear as you computer hanging
while all those files upload. However, its possible that you have a
"permissions" issue at your webhost, which chokes when you try to upload the
index_files folder.  Some webhosts don't allow the creation of
subdirectories and subfolders by default. If that is what is going on, then
check with you webhost and ask them if your webspace is set so that you can
upload both the index.htm file, plus the index_files folder?

Thank you. My site is fine now with respect to pages and pictures appearing.
