I have copied the PDF file to my FTP folder where my idex.htm file is. I
created a corresponding hyperlink with no spacing for the document name. I
have tried re-loading too, but when I go to my site to download, an error
message shows. When I check in the FTP adress, the file is there.

I also tried the 'My Network Places' option, but no window prompting that I
load the PDF file show, insteas I go to my usual FTP location, even this way
the PDF file appear in the folder. It just wond download. Where could I be
going wrong? My website is www.yourmotivation.co.za

You wrote the hyperlink incorrectly. Try:

check the spelling of the path and especially if there is any upper and
lower case letters in the path.
