how do I add a hit counter?

I have published a website using MS Publisher 200, and I
can't figure out how to pu t asimple hit counter on my
home page....I don't want to "subscribe" to a service,
just see how many visits I have had!  HElp!

You find some code for a counter and insert the code into the page with an
html code frag.

Go to a web site that offers free counters and get their
code. Then go to http://counterbot.com/cutpaste.html You
will find the instuctions at the very bottom of the page.
And they work too.

You might try www.bravenet.com They offer a lot of free goodies to ad to a
web site without having to run a cgi script.
Cgi scripts are better,but this will work.
