Hi all

I'm involved in a project to deploy content for elearning. Our idea is to
write down classes into powerpoint and publish 'em with IIS using publisher
for templating.

I wonder if somebody has been into a similar idea and if it has sense.
Content is text, video embedded and link to Internet sites.

Ideas?

Thanks in advance

My experience is with some PowerPoint-based E-learning Tools.

It works this way:

1. Create Text-based learning content with PowerPoint.
2. Convert the PowerPoint presentation to interactive learning content
with PowerPoint-based E-learning Tools.

One pick of such kind of  E-learning Tools is Wondershare PPT2Flash
Professional.

This tool develops engaging learningand traing content out the
original PowerPoint files. Text content, embeded audio, notes,
animations, transitions, attachments, hyperlinks are all retained in
the converted content.

In addtion, this tool enables users to embed the content in a flash
player template.
With this template, users can author info. logo, picture, notes,
narrations, notes and button and
label customization. And the flash player enables learner to stop/
replay/skip/ the learning content for interaction.
For view, you have outline view, thumb view and multi-level
navigation.
The features of content management and learing progress management are
also available.

You can also create  to add activities  quizzes to the leaning content
to enhance learnind and track learning progress.

For SCORM/AICC compliance
Content created by PPT2Flash Professional will integrate with SCORM/
AICC compliance. That means you can deploy your content to any LMS
(Learning Management System).

If you are using Moodle, an open source course management syetem
(CMS), it also has the integration.
