I just upgraded my computer from Window XPhome and Office Pro 2003 to Vista
Ultimate and Office Ultimate 2007. When I used to upload my website with XP I
had no problems using the HTTP Method. But since the upgrade I cannot do so.
I type in my URL and get a message that I have used invalid characters or the
name is to long. My url is still in the drop down menu but I get a message
that I cannot open that path from where I am and to try a different location.
I have tried network, computer, documents. Is there some setting I need to
turn off or on or am I using the wrong file. There is no my netwrok places
folder as there was in XP.

I haven't loaded Vista yet, and don't know the answer. It is probably some
new security setting...

Unless someone else comes along, I would suggest that you post this question
in either the microsoft.public.frontpage.client newsgroup, or perhaps the
microsoft.public.windows.vista.general group. If you post in the FrontPage
group add the fact that you can publish Publisher websites using the FPSE
and HTTP uploading protocol like FrontPage, and perhaps someone there will
be kind and offer a solution. If not, try the Vista group. And if you do get
a solution, please post it back here. I suspect that others will be having
this issue. Thanks.
