I'm a videographer, and i'm trying to create a site to put my videos on. I
already a host site, and im using SmartFTP. But currently it just shows the
site as being an index.

So I was told I can use Publisher to create the layout so it actually looks
like a site. I'm not a internet guru, I stick to video. Is there a how to
tutorial somewhere that gives step by step details? I can create the page ok,
but I just need to find out how to get it to my host site and then get my
videos on there. Thanks for the help.

Look for the instructions on how to build a site under Help...they are
actually pretty good.

Also, David Bartosik has some excellent material at
http://msmvps.com/blogs/dbartosik/  Just type
in the words and subjects that you want to learn about in the search field
in the upper right corner.

Two other links from David's material:

Including external files in a Publisher web:

Prepare, publish, and maintain your Publisher Web site:

This page also has good links to other good information.
