Okay, I'm extremely new to this.. I used Microsoft Publisher to do a front
page for my website.  I inserted a graphic on the upper left hand corner.
When I publish it to the web, and go to the site, the graphic doesn't show.
Only an outline of it with a small white box in the upper left corner which
is occupied by a small red "x".  What is this and how do I get rid of it??

this 'x' implies that it is unable to source the orignal picture, have you
checked that you have uploaded it along with your index files? if it still
doesnt work, how about you try inserting a html code fragment using the <img
src> tag and linking it directly to the file on your web space

It sounds like you did not upload all the html output. Assuming that you use
Pub 2003 at its default settings, then when you Publish to the Web, an
index.htm file (your home page) and an index_files folder is produced. The
index_files folder is where your other pages and supporting graphics and
images are contained. Upload the index_files folder and you should be good
to go. If that doesn't work, post the URL of your site.
