Hi, I've created a web site using Pub 2000 cause it's very easy, and i inserted a sound clip .mp3 and a .wav in the home page. When i preview the site and click on a clip sond, my browser Firefox starts Quick Time Player and the music doesn't starts yet! How may I indicate to the clip to open Windows Media Player instead? Thanks. Set your file associations for that. Okay? When you click on a .mp3 link your browser opens an application, p.e. WinAmp or Xmms. Then I'd like to do that. Do I have to modify something on the web page? Thank you very much. I would have thought that my file associations control that but I could be wrong. Especially if a program is designated and it's not on a system - then what? For example, I refuse to put Quick Time or Real Player on my computers. You can't dictate what program I or any other viewer of your site will use to open a file. That is a local computer option.
