I am working with Publisher 2003 and building a website.  On the home page I
want to insert a picture slideshow that will automatically run when a person
opens the webpage.  Is this possible?

Michele,

I recommend you rethink this. Perhaps a viewer will be on dialup and it
will take ages for your site to load. Say goodbye. Or the visitor wants
to take a quick look, but had to sit through a slideshow. Say goodbye.
If you want to use a slideshow, great. But let the visitor decide to
view it, don't force it on him/her.

I tried doing slideshow as a hyperlink. It looks fine in Publisher but when
viewed in Internet 7 or when published to web site it disappears. Why?

Michele,

A shot in the dark - you didn't upload the file to the correct folder???
If you post the url, it will help.

Hi Michele,
I think you could make a html slideshow directly and edit it with your
Publisher 2003.
Most slideshow software support to create html picture slideshow. Say,
Picasa, Wondershare Flash Slideshow Builder, etc.
