Hi

I am creating a 1 page website.....
I have a few pictures i wish to be seen on the page when its opened.
if the page is opened an apple will be displayed..after 3seconds the apple
should disapear and a banana should be displayed!

Can this be done in publisher

You can use one of the many free javascript code snippets available. Google
for javascript slide shows, or similar and then use the insert html code
fragment tool in Publisher.

that can be done in any webdesign tool, infact not even done in the
design software, make an animated gif in an image program like GIMP
