I'm trying to create vocabulary cards; A7 size, words at the front, meaning
at the back. How do I do that, so the right meaning gets displayed at the
back of the corresponding word. Does that make sense? I thought of using
businesscards templates, but don't know where to start.

When you create your card, put the vocabulary word on the left column, on page
two, put the meaning of this word on the right column. Business card templates
would work just fine.

If business cards are used, I think I'd do it this way. Being a Yank I'm
going to use inches and let you convert.
File
Print setup
Letter, 8.5" x 11"
(Probably the default setting)
File
Page setup
Letter, 8.5" x 11"
(Probably the default setting)
Arrange
Layout guides
Left .75"
Right .75"
Top .5"
Bottom .5"
Columns 2
Rows 5
Insert
Page
This is page 2, the back of the cards.
Now create the ten Text boxes on page 1 with the words of choice
Next create the ten Text boxes on page 2 with the answers.
A more automatic process could be done with "Mail Merge" but I'm not a user
of it.
