David, good to hear from you again.
I am having a few snags with this, and thought someone must have an answer
for this problem, why was it so easy with XP, i am enjoying vista, but cant
get my head around this problem, i know the answer is straight forward, i
have added a new network link, but then it appears in serveral locations
multipled, then the save option dissappears, when i go back in, the programme
shows failing to respond, i have managed to upload but each time it is hit or
miss.
1.Publish to web takes you to my computer folder
2.Click on computer, which opens the hard drive / removable storage paine
3. Right click in paine "add new network location"
4.Follow on screen prompts (Shortcut location / user info)
5.At this stage i can view my server folders but the option to save
disappears.
6.I reopen from network setting then several replies start (programe not
responding / premission denied / cant access programe.)
7.When i renter my computer there is 3 x links all over the place each will
not open.
I cant be the only one with vista & publisher, i know i am trying to save as
html, but surly there should be this problem.
Any way always good to hear from you.
Cheers

brelade,
Your name showed up last week in the regular newsgroup, when a thread of
yours was referenced about using anchors...
As I said, I am not using Vista, so it is hard for me to troubleshoot these
issues. I suspect that they involve one or more of the new security settings
built-in to Vista. Are you also using IE7? Another set of new security
issues...and problems.
Have you checked your host's FAQs to see if they have posted any updates
about how to use FPSE and HTML uploading protocol with Vista and/or IE7?
If someone else doesn't jump in here with some advice, perhaps you could
post your question in a Vista newsgroup or maybe a FrontPage group. If you
do post in those groups I would just say that you are using HTTP uploading
protocol with FPSE and the same techniques as you did in XP, and perhaps
avoid mentioning that you use Publisher. That tends to throw people for a
loop as they don't understand that the uploading is basically the same in
FrontPage.
I will do some more reading and if I get other ideas will post back.

Cheers David.
I have posted the question in vista, so monitoring both, it just surprises
me with the amount of publisher users out there and with vista now being used
more & more that no-one has the answer.
Cheers David
