When ever i attempt to publish to web. My publisher gives me the "not
responding" message and lock up. I have publisher on two different computers
and have copied the files and tried again. I keep getting the same response.
How can I over come this. I have also converted to html and tried. I get the
"publishing to web" message but the website doesnt show up.
Thanks

P.S I have turned of Norton. It still wont load. However it was running the
first time I tried to upload.
I have read the other posts to the same question but dont seem to see an
answer.
My business depends on this website so I'm in a crunch right now.
Any help would be soo appreciated

You may have better results by using a ftp. An excellent free ftp is
FileZilla.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/filezilla
FileZilla was well endorsed by the MVPs here.

Some folks have complained the ftp in Pub didn't work and were successful
with a ftp.

In case you are still struggling with uploading, then perhaps these articles
will help you sort it out:
David Bartosik's articles about uploading:

Unless you are using forms on your website you can use FTP uploading
protocol. If you are using forms HTTP uploading will be required. There is
also a troubleshooting article.

Don't suggestion about downloading and using FileZilla is a good one if you
choose to use FTP uploading. FileZilla is specifically designed for the
task...its free....and it has good instructions that may help.
If you are using Vista and IE7 then you might look at brelades post about
that 8/5/07.
