There is a post in the Publisher Spanish newsgroup that needs to know why
animation is not happening in his web page. The poster is using Publisher 2000.
I can find Spanish documents on the Office web site, I just need to know the
English reason why.

Hi Mary,

Do you also speak Spanish?

My guess is that if the OP is overlapping an animated GIF file with any
other design element on the page, it will convert both the original GIF and
the overlapped element into one combined, non-animated GIF, when the page is
converted to HTML.

No, I don't speak Spanish, but Babelfish does. I can find equivalent support
documents. Microsoft makes it easy...

He didn't say... I assume it is as David pointed out. There was a Microsoft
article addressing the problem in Spanish. Very seldom do folks re-post a
success.

If he does come back, ask for the URL so we can see what he is doing.
