I would like to display at least two calendar months on my calendar page.
When I copy and paste a second month onto the page, I am unable to change
that month to say October, instead of September.  I am using Publisher 2007.
My web site is www.stillwaterjovolleyball.org.  Thanks for your help!

Cathy M.,

Please, read the posts about checking your sites in multiple browsers,
such as one of the flavors of Mozilla and Opera. I looked at your site
in Mozilla, and most of the links do not work. That means that as many
as 3-4 out of every 10 people who visit your site will leave feeling
frustrated.

All of the Mozilla (Firefox, Mozilla, SeaMonkey, Netscape) and Opera, as
well as Safari (a MAC based browser that includes a Windows version),
plus the AOL browser are free to download. Trust me, it's worth the time
to do this.

Don't copy and paste. Go to Insert > Design Gallery Object > Calendars and
on this dialog you can choose the calendar dates.

Thank you David!  That works perfectly.  Thank you also to Mike for
suggesting that I download firefox.  I have done so and see that some of my
links are not working properly.  I will remove the hyperlinks and use HTML
code instead.  Thanks again.

You are welcome. Glad it worked for you.

I noticed that in addition to the bottom navbar not working in FF, that text
boxes with a fill color also kills the links. You can add a border instead.
Also, if you have boxes with links grouped with other text boxes, that can
kill links in FF...just ungroup them.

Remember that you can test your pages in FF on your computer before
uploading. Just direct the html output to a folder on your hard drive that
is easily accessible, such as you desktop, then you can right click the
index.htm file and Open With and choose FF.

If you have other design or link issues with your pages in FF, just post
back and we will help you sort it out.

Now I'm totally off the topic of calendars.

I deleted the bottom navbar and created my own with html code.  However,
when I uploaded and tried the links with IE, I am sent to a previous version
of that same page.  I am using godaddy to host my account.  I publish to the
web and save the index.htm and the index_files to my C drive.  I upload the
files from there.  I would really appreciate your advice!

Cathy,

Hold down the Ctrl key and hit the F5 key. That forces your browser to
download the latest version instead of one it has in its memory. Also,
some hosts don't seem to update changes immediately.

Thank you both again!  I think everything is good now.  The links all seem to
work in FF and IE.  I had the code wrong for the home page URL.  Instead of
index.htm, I was using index_files/index.htm in the URL.

I've appreaciated all your advice.  If you have any other suggestions for my
site, please let me know.  I've learned a lot!  Thanks again.

I have a question. How did you fix the links in the filled text boxes so
that they would work in FF?

Thanks. I thought maybe you had figured out another workaround for the
filled box problem.

Perhaps you are seeing a cached version of the page? Try the F5 key when you
go to the "previous version" of the same page.
