Sorry, but you can't use third party design tools...Publisher, with the free
basic plan. Use the built-in "site designer tool":

Sorry, I don't know. Look under the documentation for Microsoft.live and see
who owns the domain name, and whether you can transfer it/direct it to
another host. Get an answer to that and I can suggest a host that is about
$5 a month that I have been very satisfied with.

Thank you very much for your help. I will look into the documentation to find
that out. So where can I get the info for the host?

Thank you.

I have one more question about Microsoft Live: If I use the current web
editing tool that Microsoft Live has, then once I have made the changes I
want on the site, how do i publish it so that others can view it?

Once again, read the documentation on MSFT Live or post to that
forum/newsgroup where you will find people that use the service and might be
able to answer your questions.

I "believe"  you can upgrade your Microsoft Live web service...read the docs
to be sure. I seem to remember yes, and also that you can take your domain
name with you if you pay for it...I think.
