When I go to preview my website in Publisher 2007 or 2003 it gives me a
Notepad document and doesn't open the browser.  It was previewing fine until
this afternoon.

Thanks

Somehow you managed to change the file association. You might be able to
Publish to the web, direct your output to your computer, browse to where you
saved the files, right click on one of the .htm files, open with, and choose
IE. If that works, then choose to keep always open .htm files with IE. If
not that, you might want to consider using System Restore to go back a day.

Hi DavidF,

Thank you for the thoughtful response.  That did finally work, that is,
opening w/internet explorer and assigning that to open those type of files.
Wierd how that got changed.  Your advice is excellent, I have read many of
your posts.

Thanks again, I am back up and running...
