Another dilemma.
I mentioned in an earlier post that the images on my Web site are too large.
I noticed that all the images in the file Publisher 2003 created have been
converted from jpeg to png, and are also considerably larger in size. One
image at 708kb (jpeg) is almost 3MB (png). I do not have the option set to
“allow png as graphics format.” What can I do to keep the images as jpegs?
I have always had many images on my Web site, and had no problems with the
images in the earlier versions of Publisher. Removing them is not an option.
I was also doing more research and found Office 2003 Service Pack 1, which
has a compress picture button. Is this a good update to install? Or is there
a way that I can keep the images as jpegs?
Thanks so much for your help.

Optimize & resize the original jpg BEFORE you use it in your web
design...you can probably get it down to 20K without any problems.
