MS Office Forum / Publisher / Web Design / April 2008What Software? A Review & Rating Site
I'm looking for a piece of software/script (preferebly PHP) that will allow me to post items up in categories for people to rate and review, each article will have "A Title" "An Image" & "A Description" plus an area for people to discuss or review the product... This in it's self isn't that hard with many CRM/Blog products but... I want visual navigation, once a user enters a category I wasn't them to see a list of thumbnails and titles from which they can choose. Finally I need to do this for free so I'm looking for a GPL or equivalent piece of software. Thanks in advance Mike Well beyond the scope of what Publisher can do. Look to a forum type software like phpbb or something along those lines. I'd check first with your host, a lot of times they offer these products for free (phpbb is free anyway). Basically I need the navigation of a Shopping Cart with the Customisability and Resources of A CRM package :( Any other Ideas? For sure though...this is far beyond the scope of a Publisher generated website. Also many of them have excellent help forums where you may get help with mods that will get you the rest of the way. check with your host, many of them have php forum/portal programs that they will install for free at the push of a button...nothin' to lose.
