I created a website in ms publisher 2003. I have PDF files that I need to
upload and link to the website. I have tried in vain to do this but when I
use the Publish to Web feature, it doesn't automatically upload the PDF files
to my website. Is there any way to do this?
My preference is to have a folder on your website for files you make
available for visitors to download.
Create a folder, i.e., downloads and upload it to you server to the
location where your website files reside.
The goal is to get all of the PDF files into the downloads folder. Use a
ftp (file transfer program);
A nice free ftp is Filezilla; version three is available
http://sourceforge.net/projects/filezilla
but under development and doesn't have all the features of version 2.2.32.
Get version 2.2.32 at
http://filezilla.brothersoft.com/filezilla2.2.32-freedownload
Upload the PDF files using Filezilla into the "downloads" folder.
Next create links on the website to the PDF files, i.e.,
/downloads/filename.PDF
