i have my own domain name and when i try to use the ftp
everything gets sent to site however publisher has made
double copies of all the files for some reason so when i
check my wesite all that comes up is gobbledee gook.Also
do i need to name each page in a certain way.Hope someone
can help.

How Publisher produces site files and rather you can control naming differs
by version.

I'm having the same problem ie double files. I've looked at David's site and
found it very useful but I can't find the answer to the issue of having 2
image files of everything one JPG and one gif. It's doubling the size of the
web site and there's a 5mb limit.
