I upgraded to Publisher 2003, and have been working on my
site. I just discovered that all of the hyperlinks to
pictures quit working. For most pictures on my site, I
have (had) hyperlinks so you could see larger versions.
Now the hyperlink reads:
file:///c:\address to the picture on disk
What Publisher 98 did was copy the file from the disk
location to the website and made the hyperlink work
correctly. I don't see a way to correct this. According to
what I think I see in Publisher, I'm doing it right...
Ideas??

This was changed back in version 2002.
External files are no longer added to the publisher site files.
You have to manage external files yourself.

Upload image file to your server.
note the url of it. ( i.e.: www.mysite.com/mypics/myfile.jpg)
On the pub page hyperlink the graphic link to that url.
Publish the pub file to the server
