Okay, I know that the help files say that if you fill out
a form, and have it save to a file, that file must be
located in the SAME directory as the html form.

1) But... my client NEEDS the txt file to go into another
directory.  Is there ANY TIP OR TRICK that I can use to
add a directory path to the file save location??? Special
characters or anything???  I know you're the BEST there
is... so I know you probably have a way to get around
this.

2) If not, then is there a way to publish just that one
page to a different directory? (so I can put it in the
same directory as the text file)

I would prefer to use item 1, but as a last resort, I'll
take No 2.

What version of Publisher is this?
Are you stating that you want form results output to a file?
Are you running this with FP extensions on the server?

Yes... I want the form results to output to a txt file.
But according to the help files, you can only save the
txt file in the same directory as the html file.

Using 2003, FP extensions on the server.

If the help file states that then the extensions must be coded to work that
way. And there is no support for modifying extension behavior.
If you need a web page in a folder different from the main site you create a
separate pub file, use this article -
