Hyperlinks stop working after a few days

I wonder if anyone can explain what I'm doing wrong.
I load the webpage and it works fine, then check back a few days later and
links won't work.
I've just reloaded the pages again because all page 1 links had ??gone.
They are working now, but can anyone tell what's wrong.

I'd have to actually see an example of such when it occurs.
