When I maximise my browser window when viewing my published web pages, the page no longer fills the window, leaving an unused area to the right, which looks unbalanced. I realise the size is optimised for browser windows that are not maximised, because it fits perfectly then, but is there anything I can do to make it look good in both

With Publisher 2000 (later versions no, older versions ???) you can add a

and
in EACH html file which will center your page. Every
time you save your web files it will require you to again add the

and
. I did this for awhile, a short while.

Another thing you can do is under File, Page Setup, select a wide page.
This will make the display better for most folks but it will require those
with monitor settings of 640x480 to scroll horizontally. I think to avoid
scrolling one needs their monitor set at 1024x1068 and above. The wide page
setting will allow you to put more on your web page.
