I have created a publication in Publisher and would like to convert it to a
"picture" or a "gif" file.  What are the steps to make this happen while in
Publisher?  Help - thanks!

Here's a couple of ways:

Push the Prnt Scrn key and paste it into paint or other image software.

A neat little free program is MWSnap which will let you size take part or
all of the monitor display.

Newer versions of Publisher, save as, scroll down to the image choices or select
all, right click, save as picture.
