As suggested by many I have created EPS files with Tiff preview at Level 3
Ascii from PDFs. However even with the preview, the files appear blank in
Publisher. I know they are there becuase when I distill back to PDF all are
fine. Is there something in Publisher 2003 that I need to enable to see the
files?

Thanks

Publisher is hardly EPS/TIFF-friendly. There could be any number of
things confusing it. If you can live without seeing the EPS when in
preview mode, I'd ignore the big blank space and move on. If you can't
live without, try converting to PNG(1) and using that either a preview
(deleting when you go to PDF) or instead of the EPS file.

Thanks Ed. It is certinly a weakness and I would have thought easy to sort
out. Is Publisher 07 any better. I can live without as I know what the files
look like, but a hinderance if positioning is vital as I can't see the actual
position.

Publisher has always had trouble with some varieties of TIFF file, to my
knowledge. If it were easy to solve, then I would presume it would have
been by now.

In this respect, I don't think so.
