Setup your page as a booklet. Create a text box on your the page you want the
Word document to start, select the text box, right-click, click change text,
click text file, browse to the Word document. Publisher will automatically
create pages and text boxes.

Thanks, Mary. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by booklet. In Help I
found this suggestion:
On the Arrange menu, click Layout Guides, and then click the Margin Guides
tab.
Under Master Pages, select Two-page master.
Click OK.
Is this what you meant by booklet?
I'm not looking for a two-page master, I don't think, just a way to enhance
the format of a document to be printed on one side.

Booklet is at File | Page Setup...Booklet.
