I guess what I'm wanting to know is there a way to define the target output
resolution so that all assets, graphics, charts could be developed in the
same.
I have used Adobe Pagemaker 7.0, I know, I said the "P" word, and have the
option to define the documents output target resolution. I.E. 96, 300, 600,
1200, etc...
Seems like I had read where I could modify Publisher's StartUp file to
define this and other options. Is there a file that defines certain defaults?

As you're not developing the assets within Publisher but within other
programs, I don't see what Publisher could do about this.

Haha... I haven't really used PageMaker myself, so can't claim
experience there to know what setting a global document resolution would
do, apart from set a default for the Save As Picture (and possibly PDF
output) options...

Not that I'm aware of - I think the resolutions available in the Save As
dialog are hardcoded.
