The text is in English but the default language checker has coded the entire
document as a French document. This means that every single word in the
document has a red line underneath it indicated an error in French. The only
way to change the default language seems to be to click on every single page
and set it to English? There surely must be a faster way, as the document is
173 pages and thats a lot of conversion :-).  Thanks in advance!

Tools, Spelling, Hide Spelling Errors. Not sure there is a better way unless you
save the file as a Word document (.doc) and try changing the language in Word.
Word has the advantage of not using text boxes.

Does anyone know of any add-ons (third party) that would increase the
functionality or add new features to Publisher? I have several add-ons that I
use with Outlook for example and was wondering if anyone could recommend some?

Thanks to Mary for he tip - much appreciated!

Take a look at Ed's web site. He has published add-ons he has developed.
