Since you never want to write directly to removeable media I'm not sure how
to answer this. Yes, you can burn Publisher files onto a Lightscribe disc.
If you were talking about creating an image in Pulbisher then burning that
image onto the disk, save your files as a .jpg, then use the Lightscribe
software to burn onto the disc.
(I too have a Lightscribe but haven't used it to scribe an image yet.)

It writes like any other CD writer. The difference is that it can
also write/print the label on the other side.

So I forgot to mention that it only writes/scribes labels on special
CDs.

I would too but like I said, I never used it so it may have and I just
