The quote you posted is correct. In Vista you can add a Publisher folder to
Favorite Links. Hopefully this will be addressed in the next service pack.
If you have Windows XP, when you save as, do you not have a "Tools" drop down in
the Save in menu?

Thanks for the reply and sorry for not stating I have XP!
When I click on the 'Tools' menu in the 'Save As' dialogue box I only get
these three options:
Delete
Rename
Map Network Drive.
