Publisher 2007 Business Card Printing Problem w/ Portrait Orientat

My "portrait oriented" business cards refuse to print correctly on Avery
Paper.  I can design and print on Avery only when I design a "landscape
oriented card."  I never had trouble with this on the same computer and
printer when using previous version of Publisher.  On the Microsoft website
it states that the print out will be correct... and it was in previous
Publishers, but it isn't in Publisher 2007.

I can pick a Design and choose "portrait orientation."  But then it also
prints that way, which doesn't fit the Avery #5371 paper I'm using (which is
landscape... 2 across, 5 down or 10 cards/sheet).  I've tried everything I
can think of--even turning every element in the card sideways so that it
fits--very hard to read on the screen, by the way.  I've downloaded all the
most recent service packs on the Office and Windows website.

HELP!  I don't want to be forced to only design landscape-oriented business
cards!  Any advice?

This is not easy. I spent a good bit of time this morning trying to achieve a
portrait business card. There are only workarounds.

Create a new publication. In page setup click the advanced button.
Layout type, One page per sheet.
Width 2"
Height 3.5"
Margin guides zero

Create your card how you want it to look. When you are finished, select all,
group, rotate 90 degrees. Copy/paste to an Avery business card template in a new
publication. You may have to adjust some of your objects, especially if they are
round.
