I am trying to print a birthday invitation that's not a quarter fold.  What I
would like is a half page fold (left side), two to a page front and back.
So basically on one side of the page would be two of the inside pages of the
invitation and on the other side of the paper would be two of the front and
back of the invitation.......
It seems to be impossible for some reason......

Your help would be appreciated! Thanks everyone!

This is how I do a similar pamphlet in Publisher 2000.

File
Page setup
Special Fold option
Book Fold in "Choose a Special Fold
Width:   4.25"
Height:  5.5"

Choose an Orientation
Portrait

OK

Next select
Arrange from the Menu
Layout Guides

I use .5" for all the margins.

Now create your Invitation.

When you are ready to Print select,

File
Print
Select "Page Options" button
In the new window select "Print multiple copies per sheet
Make all margins and gaps 0
OK
OK
OK

That's it.

I wish it were that easy in 2007!

If the poster is using 2007.

Page setup, advanced, Layout Type *booklet*, type 4.25 width, 5.5 height. Do
your creating, pay no attention to print preview. It will show one card.

If you want to know how your card will look when printed...File, Print, Letter,
Portrait, 2 sided. There is a print preview on this screen. You can cancel out
of this dialogue, but you will have to reset it when you are ready to print.

I know, I had it set up in 2003, and with my duplex printer it would even
print both sides at the same time (if I wanted something on the inside)
I got totally messed up when I tried to do the same thing in 2007.
Apparently the settings that were saved in the 2003 files didn't translate
to 2007.
The last time I did it, I finally got it set up (forget now how) but had to
take the paper out, and flip it over and print the other side separately.
