In WinXP win.ini should be found at:
C:\Windows\win.ini
Yes...Pub2000 will run on WinXP.

I thought win.ini was a system boot configuration? but im having more problems with sys.ini win.ini and just plain configurations
my network settings get messed up about everyday. and Even with antivirus and a shield and firewall I still get a trojan or virus and this really messes me up cause i delete everything. mcafee messed my pc up when using privacy manager had to uninstall mcafee. then norton got 4 virus attacked on my other pc now in repair. all i want is a configuration with system and network connections working together and winxp firewall and just play my games surf web and play music safely. no worries of virus intruders on my ports and my internet explorer keeps messing up too i cant seem to configure it without saying error web page cannot detect network settings or cant view the pages at all. can you help me or anyone please. updates current on win xp thoug
