Using Microsoft Publisher 2002 on XP, I wish to "lock" details
on Page 2 (" Installed" page after page ONE)
I use Ctrl M to take me to page TWO
I add the details (rectangles with frame) then revert to
page one, (Ctrl M) BUT I cannot see the details on Page TWO
showing through.
I've tried fiddling with Ctrl T, but...zilch.
Can you help please?

Ctrl-M does *not* take you to page 2.
It takes you to the master page, which is displayed behind each page in your
publication.
Ctrl-Shift-N gives you a new page, or Insert > Page

Ctrl+M takes you to the Master Page...(Background). Is your status bar visible? Have
you inserted a page two. Insert, page?

Hi, John -
Text boxes NOT on the background must be set to "no fill" - otherwise you
will block out anything you put on the background. Photos, graphics and
filled shapes in the foreground will also cover anything you put on the
background.
(I'm interpreting the background to be the "page 2" you are referring to)

Thank you 'M', and may I refer you to the answer from Ed Bennet.
//Ctrl-M does *not* take you to page 2.
It takes you to the master page, which is displayed behind each page
in your publication.
Ctrl-Shift-N gives you a new page, or Insert > Page //
I found this to be spot on, and it solved my problem.
