I have just had a new version of Publisher installed on my computer
(Publisher2003) and when I opened my newsletter I do not have the pictures
that I inserted into the newsletter.  When I printed the page the pictures
were there, but still not shown on the computer version.

What should I do so I can see these pictures on my document?

The next thing to try is an updated video driver. Go to the manufacturer's web site
and look around.
Might turn down the acceleration on your video adapter to test, right-click the
desktop, properties, settings tab, advanced button, troubleshoot tab.
