Right now all I have is Publisher 97 to put our garden club website on the
internet.  I would like to install a counter which registers the total number
of hits to our site.  I am trying to figure out how to do that using our
current software or if I can do it at all.  The code for the counter is in
HTML.  Can someone help me figure this out?  I appreciate your help.

I don't know if 97 supported code fragments.
If it did there would be a HTML code fragment option in the Insert menu.
If you see it there, then use it.
