After creating an image (logo) in Publisher 2003, I have tried repeatedly to
insert the image into my Frontpage website design and then view it. I copy
and paste it, insert it from Publisher, import it from Publisher and nothing
happens when I try to view it in FrontPage preview and/or Internet Explorer.
I have saved it as a GIF and JPEG and everything else, only to get a blank
page.
Please advise. Thank you!

One more thing, I tuned down the acceleration to none or whatever it was and
then I got the letters below on the page instead of the image.
<![endif]-->
Thanks again.

1- Make sure the image is saved as a RGB jpg not a CMYK jpg.
2- With your FP web/site opened File | Import that image file into FP
(usually to the Images folder)
3- Then place that image into your web design from that Image folder.
Save the page.
To view it use File | Preview in Browser.

Can you send the publication to me? I had another poster have the same problem. I
could not replicate her problem. I ended up bringing her logo into another program;
reworked it, after that she could use the logo. When you create the logo, are you
creating in the web page mode?

Mary,
I'm that person. Everything we did never worked properly. I could see the
image, but it wasn't clear and the white speckles around the image never went
away. I wanted to place the logo on a background with color, buy I could
never get the speckles to go away.
I would like to understand why this is so hard to do. If you create the
image in Photoshop or Paintshop, there isn't a problem. I can't use these 2
programs with out developing a bad headache.
I would think there is a reason or solution.

As I tried to save it again, I don't see anything that gives me the option of
RGB vs. CMYK jpeg formatting. Can you tell me where to find that? Thank you
again.

Open it in Photoshop, then Image | Mode ... set for RGB
If you want email me the image file and I can help you later.

The speckles are artifacts. If the .gif is on white you don't see them. The image I
made in Corel did much better than the one she composed in Publisher. I wonder if she
would transform her publication to a web page and then copied/pasted it would work
better.
